New England Lobster Roll

Enjoy the traditional tastes of New England with this tasty lobster roll recipe. For a truly satisfying meal, soft lobster meat is mixed with smooth mayonnaise, fresh lemon juice, and fragrant chives. The mixture is then stuffed into buttery toasted buns.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 pounds cooked lobster meat, chopped
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 New England-style split-top hot dog buns
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • Lettuce leaves, for serving
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions:

In a mixing bowl, combine chopped lobster meat, mayonnaise, lemon juice, chives, salt, and pepper

Mix until well combined

Brush the split sides of the hot dog buns with melted butter

In a skillet over medium heat, toast the buns until golden brown, about 2 minutes per side

Fill each toasted bun with a generous amount of lobster salad

Serve the lobster rolls with lettuce leaves and lemon wedges on the side
