Crock Pot Stuffed Peppers

Its easy to make these stuffed peppers in the slow cooker, and they taste great and make you feel good. They are cooked until soft and juicy after being filled with a tasty mix of ground beef, rice, cheese, and seasonings. Great for a quick dinner during the week or a cozy meal on the weekend

Ingredients:

  • 6 large bell peppers, any color
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1/2 cup onion, finely diced
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 15-ounce can tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions:

Take the bell peppers tops off and take out the seeds and membranes

Put ground beef, onion, rice, 1/2 cup of shredded cheese, 1/2 cup of tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper in a large bowl

Mix the ingredients together

Put the bell peppers in the slow cooker and fill them with the meat mixture

Cover the stuffed peppers with the rest of the tomato sauce

Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or high for 3 to 4 hours, until the meat is done and the peppers are soft

In the last 30 minutes of cooking, sprinkle the peppers with the rest of the shredded cheese

Enjoy while hot
