Ingredients:
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup creme de menthe liqueur
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips optional
Instructions:
Warm the oven up to 175F 350C
Grease a baking dish that is 8 inches square
Put the butter in a saucepan and melt it over low heat
Take the pan off the heat and mix in the creme de menthe, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract
Sift the flour, cocoa powder, and salt together in a different bowl
Slowly add this dry mixture to the wet mixture while stirring it together
If you want, you can fold in chocolate chips
Spread the batter out evenly in the baking dish that has been prepared
In a hot oven, bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick stuck in the middle comes out with a few moist crumbs on it
Before cutting the brownies into squares, let them cool in the pan
