Instead of buns, these grilled chicken lettuce wraps are a tasty and healthy choice. They are great for barbecues because they are low in carbs and gluten-free and are full of fresh, tasty ingredients.
Ingredients:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 large lettuce leaves such as iceberg or romaine
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 avocado, sliced
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
- Lime wedges for serving
Instructions:
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat
In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper to create a marinade
Coat the chicken breasts with the marinade and let them sit for 10-15 minutes
