These savory tarts are perfect for summer with the fresh flavors of zucchini, corn, garlic, sage, and cheddar cheese baked in a flaky puff pastry crust.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup grated zucchini
- 1/2 cup corn kernels
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh sage, finely chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 sheet puff pastry
Instructions:
Warm the oven up to 190C 375F
Put the puff pastry sheet in a tart pan and roll it out
Grate the zucchini, add the corn kernels, minced garlic, chopped sage, and shredded cheddar cheese to a bowl
Cover the puff pastry with the zucchini mixture
After the oven is hot, bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the filling is done and the pastry is golden brown
Take it out of the oven and let it cool down a bit before cutting it up and serving
